Filtering and Searching
You can search for a particular Company by name in the search bar below the main panel's green bar.
Add, Edit, and Delete
If you've not already, check how you add, edit, and delete things on the app.
Field Names
Field | Required? | Description |
---|---|---|
Asset ID | Yes | A unique Identifier for the asset. Maybe your customer has provided one, or you'd like to set it up yourself. |
Asset Type | Yes | Choose from the list of Asset Types. If you've not set these up yet, you'll have to do it before you start. Check out this article. |
Status | No | Choose whether the asset is Active, Decommissioned, or Removed. This is a helpful feature for ongoing management of the assets, but when first adding an asset, it defaults to Active. |
Year | No | Enter the year that the asset was manufactured or installed. |
Grade | No | ">Choose a suitable grade for the asset from Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Very Poor. |
Site | Yes | Choose the site for the asset. |
Location | Yes | Enter the physical location for the asset or the area that benefits from the asset. For instance, for an air conditioning system, it may be helpful to use the name of the room that the Asset serves. |
Manufacturer | Yes | Enter the manufacturer's name. |
Model Number | No | Enter the asset's model number. |
Serial Number | No | |
Refrigerant | No | HVAC customers only. |
Refrigerant Quantity | No | HVAC customers only. |
Asset Naming
The app generates a name for the assets to make them easy to find later. This is,
Manufacturer + Asset Type + Location + (Asset ID)
